Project "Blood Magic" 2025-2026

Partial-Failure.UnreleasedRole-Playing GameVisual NovelPuzzle

This Disco-Elysium-clone was my first project in Godot. Got the entire infrastructure for the game system coded; menus, dialogue system, scene managers, save functions, options, etc., (The stuff you sorta take for granted when you pop open an RPG Maker project or a Ren'py file.) And, I even got a couple of extra zelda-like puzzle mechanics implimented. This game takes place in a fictional version of a post-WWII Poland, where allied troops are taking more time then they should evacuating the territory in order to find a forbidden relic.

I left the team after being the only programmer for nearly a year & continuing to see the project's scope increase. I'm told that the project is still on going. Hope it eventually sees the light of day.

Elysium;Below 2024

Failure. Unreleased Point-n-Click Adventure Game

The story of this strange Myst-clone revolved around the son of an arcaneist who ventures in the ruins of an egg-shaped constract that fell from the sky. The son in question hopes to find out what happened to the previous search party & possibly discover a way to end a plague that started around the same time the egg fell. The game gave you very little context & it was up to the player to gather lore tid-bits to piece together the story.

The team I was working with slowly lost interest & we eventually all ended up parting ways. I'm so upset about this one, I spent a whole year on it! The game was like 85% done!!!

Gleam & the Eternal Night 2023

Success! Released: 2023/10/24 Role-Playing Game

Gleam is the last & fourth game I worked on in 2023. I'm proud of this one! Another g.mini title. This game features a strange looping mechanic & follows the story of Gleam, the chosen one of the Covenant, a girl selected by the elder to go into the depths & put an end to the eternal night! But, how many tried before her?

Project "Conceige" 2023

Failure. Unreleased Role-Playing Game Turn-Based Combat

Another jam-entry, this one I never got done, can't remember why. The story centered around a traveling doctor who is helping in the efforts to prevent some sort of global eldrish gore-like infestation. The plot starts with him finding himself in lockdown at a strange hotel after an authoritarian state tries to use the crisis to take power. All seems lost until the doc befriends a Conceige with strange god-like powers... (And, by some strange coincidence resembles The Doorman from Deadlock down to the outfit & the hair color, even if this game predates the other by a year!)

Super Stoner Serenade 2023

Success! Released: 2023/05/13 Platformer

The first g.mini project EVER! (G.mini is a homebrew in-browser game engine I made after I got sick of RPG Maker shitting the bed everytime you exported a Web build.) I'm very fond of this game. The silly adventures of "Some Guy" who gets high & decides to kiss everyone at his friend's party is kinda endearing to me.

MS Paint Paw Pals 2023

Partial-Success! Released: 2023/02/22 Visual Novel

A short jam-entry, a visual novel drawn in shitty MS Paint art about a bunch of silly cats going to the mall. It's one of 4 micro-games I released in 2023! I was trying to get in the habit of drawing my own art. This project was sort of a low-commit joke attempt at that, a way to warm up. I don't feel like it ever led to much more though, if I'm being honest. :/

Avulsor Zero: Limbs of Cognition 2019-2021, 2023

Failure. Demo: 2020/11/05 Action Role-Playing Game

A gorey romp through a zombie-infested space station, featuring two maladjusted cyborgs. Honestly, I just felt like the game was never good enough for my liking. A demo was released in 2020 that gathered a lot of interest, but I don't know... It's like the polish never quite reached my standards (especially the writing) & I just slowly burnt out.

I tried to revive the project in 2023 with a completely different setting & story, but life kinda just got in the way. Besides, 2023 was probably my most productive year ever.

Machines That Bleed 2016-2017

Success!Demo: 2017/01/16Role-Playing GameVisual Novel

A cheesy Cyberpunk Noir about a missing kid & a dead automaton, this RPG Visual Novel was the precursor to Lockheart Indigo. I consider this project a "Successful Failure", as the demo did help get my name out there initially & many of its characters & mechanics were brought into the next game.
